League of Legends is now gearing up for yet another season of incredible content, but before we dive into all of this, Riot has now shared what's ahead.
LCS, the North American esports division for League of Legends wil be kicking off their 2026 season soon, and we're going to run over all we know about the Lock-In tournament.

When Does LCS 2026 Lock-In Begin? Dates, Teams and More
The new yearly model for League has allowed Riot to experiment heavily at the start of each year, and we're going to witness this once again for 2026.
LCS is back, and in the lead-up to Worlds 2026; which will be held in the United States, the journey is going to begin for players on January 24th, 2026 until March 2026.
This will be Riot's Lock-In event, where the winning team will qualify for the first international event of the year in First Stand.
As for teams, all LCS representatives are participating, and these include:

- Dignitas
- Flyquest
- Lyon
- Sentinels
- Shopify Rebellion
- Team Liquid
- Disguised
