Pokemon Legends Z-A will be the next mainline Pokemon game to hit the shelves, and it'll also be the first in the series to release on the Nintendo Switch 2.

Pokemon Legends Z-A: Release Date
With Pokemon games typically releasing sometime around the Fall/Winter, Pokemon Legends Z-A will be released on October 16th, 2025.

Pokemon Legends Z-A: Setting
Unlike the original Pokemon Legends title, this one is going to be solely focused on one specific city, and this will be Lumiose City, which is in the Kalos region, and debuted during Pokemon X and Y.
From all signs, we can say that we’re going to be primarily in the city during this game, and it’ll focus on the urbanization of a city where Pokemon and humans can live and work hand in hand.
