Pokemon Legends Z-A will be the next mainline Pokemon game to hit the shelves, and it'll also be the first in the series to release on the Nintendo Switch 2.
While many loved the first Pokémon Legends, this one will be aiming to improve in many aspects, and it all starts with the Pokémon.
Here's what we know about the starter Pokémon.
Pokémon Legends: Z-A: What Are The Starter Pokémon? Best Choices and More
Pokémon Legends Z-A is aiming to expand the model that was set by Pokémon Legends: Arceus, and the battle system is certainly getting some upgrades.
While we've seen snippets of some of the Pokémon that will be obtainable, the three starters that we'll get to pick from are:
- Chikorita
- Grass Type
- Tepig
- Fire Type
- Totodile
- Water Type
In terms of which ones are going to be the best, we have an inkling that none will reign supreme to the extent we've seen in past Pokémon games. However, we lean towards Tepig, due to its final evolution, Emboar, being a dual-type with Fire/Fighting.
But, this probably won't matter, and we encourage you to pick whichever starter you want to!
