Overwatch 2 most recently showcased some of the features coming to their game in the coming months at the annual Blizzcon.
Now, we’re going to be diving into some brand new events for Season 8, and one of these is the Year of the Dragon event.

Overwatch 2 Year of the Dragon Event: Lunar New Year Skins, Prop Hunt and More
The brand new season of OW2 is going to be one of the final ones before the turn of the New Year, and also be the premier of Mauga, the latest tank to join the game.
With other events such as Winter Wonderland making a comeback once again, we’re going to be diving back into Prop Hunt it appears, and this time around it’ll be for the Year of the Dragon event, which will kick off on January 30, 2024.

Finally, Season 8 closes out with the return of our Lunar New Year event! We’ve been listening to your feedback, and we’re excited to announce that the fan-favorite Mischief and Magic prop hunt game mode will be on the Lijiang Night Market map, with all new props for Rogue Kiriko to transform into that will make you look in every direction imaginable. Also, look out for new Legendary skins in the in-game shop, along with playing returning modes like Capture the Flag and Bounty Hunter Deathmatch. The fireworks and festivities for the Year of the Dragon begin on January 30!
