Overwatch 2 has now released worldwide, and Blizzard's latest entry into the series has improved in all aspects compared to it's original release.

While the release hasn't been what Blizzard has expected, it was smooth sailing for a while, but now it appears some players have a third of their heroes locked.

Here's what we know!

It's really troubling for players to try and figure out why this is happening all of a sudden, as there were numerous reports that these heroes just randomly locked mid-day on the 10th of October.

So, Blizzard has since went down for maintaince, but it hasn't changed the provlems playgers are having with it.

So, if you're looking to resolve this issue, there's a few tricks we can think of to test out.

• Restart your Battle.net and log out and log back in
• Restart your PC/Internet
• If all else fails, follow the steps below in order to merge your account just in case

Here are the steps you can take to merge your console account to a battle.net account:

1. Login to Overwatch from your console account.
2. Follow the on-screen prompts to scan a QR Code on your mobile phone.
3. Enter the code displayed on your console to connect to or create your Blizzard Battle.net Account.
4. Once complete, you will be prompted to confirm your account upon the next game login to merge your accounts.

You will only have one opportunity to merge the correct account.

Once you merge a console account with a battle.net account, you will be unable to link to a different console account on the same platform. Double-check to make sure you are linking the correct account to your battle.net account.
