Overwatch 2 is nearing the end of yet another season, and during this time we're going to be gearing up to learn more about the new hero, Freja.
Revealed during the Overwatch 2 2025 spotlight, the brand new DPS will look to add some value to any OW team, and we're going to run over when she'll be released.
Here's what we know.
Overwatch 2: When Does Freja Release? Answered
Freja, is the latest hero to be announced for Overwatch 2, and alongside Aqua, will be one of the two joining the roster this year.
It's been since Venture the last time a DPS was announced for OW2, and Blizzard will be rolling her out at the onset of Season 16, which should be sometime around end of April into early May.
Blizzard has noted the following in regards to her kit.
Unload a flurry of rapid-fire bolts with her Revdraw Crossbow to keep the pressure on your enemies.
Slow it down with Take Aim to line up the perfect shot and fire a high-speed explosive bolt that’ll turn targets into fireworks.
Quick Dash in any direction to reload your explosive bolt and leave your enemies in the dust.
Launch yourself sky-high with an Updraft of wind. Catch those rooftop campers or get a bird’s-eye view before you strike.
And finally, snag an enemy with an explosive Bola Shot. Wrap them up and pull in their unlucky teammates for the ultimate combo play.
