Overwatch 2 Season 8 Patch Notes: Tank Buffs, Changes and More
The brand new season of OW2 is going to be one of the final ones before the turn of the New Year, and also be the premier of Mauga, the latest tank to join the game.
With the new tank, they’re also going to be buffing virtually all tanks within the game, so it’s going to be quite the different meta for sure.
Here’s what we know thus far regarding the patch notes.
- Ultimate charge retained when swapping reduced from 25% to 15%.
Doomfist
- Meteor Striker
- Will now regenerate health at 75 health per second.
- Ultimate cost increased.
Ramattra
- Void Accerlation
- Increased size and damage of projectiles.
- Omnic Form
- Health reduced to 200.
- Now has 100 armor.
Winston
- Tesla Cannon
- Will now ignore armor damage reduction.
Sombra
- EMP
- Ability lockout time increased from 1.5 to 3 seconds.
- Damage reduced from 30% to 25% of maximum health.
Soldier 76
- Biotic Field
- Cooldown increased from 15 to 18 seconds.
Tracer
- Pulse Pistols
- Damage increased from 5.5 to 6.
Brigitte
- Whip Shot
- Damage reduced from 80 to 70.
Baptiste
- Primary fire ammo reduced from 45 to 36.
