League of Legends is winding down its season for 2025, and with the tail end here we're learning some new information about 2026 and beyond.

League of Legends Season 1 2026: Split 1 Ranked Details
The new yearly model for League has allowed Riot to experiment heavily at the start of each year, and we're going to witness this once again for 2026.
Ranked commenced when the season initially released back on January 8, 2026, and since then, players have had time to get to terms with the new Champion changes and meta shifts.
As of now, we're not sure when Split 2 is going to kick off, and while the entire purpose of Splits right now is to give players more chances to earn rewards; we'll still be sure to update this page as we learn more.
