Highguard has been a mysterious title since it was fully revealed during The Game Awards 2025, as the final title was this new hero shooter from the former Apex Legends/Titanfall developers.

Highguard was released on January 26, 2026, with little to no marketing in the lead-up, aside from the initial trailer. So, the feeling of the unknown and wanting to experience it firsthand is a feeling many are undergoing right now.
Any new title is worth trying out, and one aspect that is unique within Highguard is that each match is actually only 3v3. Meaning, you're only going to see one another's team on the map at all times.
