Fortnite might have popularised emotes in modern video games, but GTA Online, which has been around for nearly a decade, has had emotes in some form or another ever since it first launched.

Admittedly, in GTA Online, these are not called emotes, but rather ‘character actions’, and whilst there are nowhere near as many as many contemporary games like Fortnite or Apex Legends it does steadily add more with every major update.

  2. Scroll down the menu and select ‘Style’
