GTA Online Diamond Casino Heist Payout: Max Take, and Player Splits Explained

August 17, 2022

How much does the Diamond Casino Heist payout in GTA Online? Sadly the answer is a little less straightforward compared to the majority of heists in the game. Whilst it cannot be played solo, you can play the Diamond Casino Heist with 2, 3, or 4 different players, meaning the final take can be split in a multitude of different ways.

There are also different factors that will impact the final take once you complete the heist. So unfortunately it’s not a simple one-word answer. Thankfully we’ve pulled together this guide to give you the full picture and explain all the different details which will ultimately impact your payout from the Diamond Casino Heist.

Read on for everything you need to know before you attempt to pull off the most sophisticated and daring robbery the city of Los Santos has ever seen.

Although the Diamond Casino Heist is no longer the most profitable heist in the game it still offers a very decent payout.

The most profitable GTA Online heist is currently the Cayo Perico heist, but the Diamond Casino heist offers the second best payout and shouldn’t be sniffed at.

It’s also a fairly enjoyable heist and we think it’s definitely worth doing even now in 2022.

GTA Online Diamond Casino Heist Setup Costs

Before players can start the Diamond Casino Heist they will need to register as a CEO in GTA Online, or become an MC president. If you’re short on cash you can always register as a VIP at a cost of $50,000.

Once you’re a CEO, MC President or VIP you will then need to buy an Arcade from Maze Bank Foreclosures. The game offers 6 different Arcades to choose from and whilst they are all identical, prices will vary depending on location and range between $1,235,000 to $2,530,000.

We’ve listed the 6 Arcades below, but if you want to know which is the Best Arcade in GTA Online, follow the link for a full explainer.

  • Pixel Pete’s Arcade – Paleto Bay – $1,235,000
  • Wonderama Arcade – Grapeseed – $1,565,000
  • Videogeddon Arcade– La Mesa – $1,875,000
  • Warehouse Arcade – Davis – $2,135,000
  • Insert Coin Arcade – Rockford Hills – $2,345,000
  • Eight-Bit Arcade – Vinewood – $2,530,000

In addition to buying the Arcade, there’s a $25,000 setup cost each time you start the Diamond Casino Heist.

GTA Online Diamond Casino Heist Payouts Explained

The payout for the Diamond Casino Heist is a bit similar to the GTA Online Doomsday Heist payout in that the payout can vary depending on several factors.

Your maximum potential Diamond Casino Heist payout can be drastically altered by the following:

  • Vault contents (Cash, Artwork, Gold and Diamonds)
  • Your Heist approach (Big Con, Silent & Sneaky or Aggressive)
  • Hard Mode
  • Diamond Casino Heist Penalties
  • Which crew members you use (who you have to pay)
  • How many players you split the take with

Read on for more info on each of the above.

Vault Contents

Every time you take on the Diamond Casino heist the contents of the vault will change, and ultimately the contents will have a big say in how much money you make. The vault could contain Cash, Artwork, Gold and Diamonds. Cash is the most common, with Diamonds only available during special event weeks.

Heist Approach

Like the Doomsday Heist players will need to complete setup missions and prep jobs in freemode sessions before you can proceed to the finale. It’s during this prep work that you’ll decide on how to approach the Heist. The options are ‘Big Con’, ‘Silent & Sneaky’ or ‘Aggressive’.

Whilst there’s no massive monetary difference between the approaches, there is other factors to consider. Aggressive takes less prep missions, but you may lose more health in the heist and that impacts your take. Silent & Sneaky takes the most prep missions (11) and requires good team coordination. The Big Con is a good middle ground, but also offers the smallest bonus payout.

Hard Mode

When you take on the Casino Heist you will not be able to use the same approach twice in a row. But on your third heist you should notice a little skull post-it note on the board next to an approach you’ve already completed. This will indicate that this approach will be done on ‘Hard Mode’ offering a slightly increased payout.

The Diamond Casino Heist Payout on Hard Mode will see loot worth 10% more.

Heist Penalties

You need to avoid taking damage during the heist and if you do you could lose some of the take. This is also why it’s suggested players avoid the Aggressive approach.

As per GTA Boom “The amount lost is between 0.12% – 0.26% of the total cash you are carrying at the time. In practice, this means about $2,000 lost per shot.”

Crew Member Payments

You will need to pay your crew members to help with the Heist. This includes a gunman, a hacker and a driver. Different crew members will take a different % of the cut. For instance, the hacker Avi Schwartzman will take a 10% cut, but will give you more time in the vault. Ultimately your max payout will vary depending on which crew members you pick.

Player Payout Split

Like any heist in GTA Online, the final factor which will have a bearing on how much money you make is to do with how many players you choose to do the Heist with. The Casino Heist finale can be done with a minimum of 2 players and up to 4 players. Obviously the more players you have the greater you will need to split the final payout.

GTA Online Diamond Casino Heist Max Payout

UPDATE - As of the release for GTA Online The Criminal Enterprises DLC, all Heist Payouts have increased ever so slightly.

To encourage group play, all players joining Heist Setups will receive 50% more GTA$ than the current payout.

Additionally:
• The minimum cut for Finales is now set at 15% for each member
• The cost of Heist Setup fees has been reduced across the board to GTA$25K

The maximum payout from the Diamond Casino Heist is $3,619,000 when looting Diamonds on hard mode. This is however merely the payout and not the final take you will earn.

From the $3,619,000 you will need to deduct Lester’s cut (which is 5% of the total score), then you will need to pay your crew (driver, gunman, hacker), then deduct any penalties and finally, you will need to split the leftover money with your fellow players. Do note, the minimum cut a player can receive for completing a Finale mission is 15%.

Below you can see the different max payouts in the Diamond Casino Heist depending on the vault contents and whether you’re playing on normal or hard.
