GTA ONLINE CAYO PERICO HEIST PAYOUT: SOLO AND MAX MONEY GUIDE

GTA Online Cayo Perico Heist Payout: Solo And Max Money Guide

August 17, 2022

How much money do you make from the GTA Online Cayo Perico heist? Unfortunately, the answer is a little less straightforward compared to most other heists released in GTA Online.

The heist itself is divided into three separate missions: Intel, which focuses on scoping out points of interests, the primary target, and any potential secondary loot targets.  You will earn different amounts of money depending on the primary or secondary loot you grab. There’s also the question of how many players you choose to use for the heist, with Cayo Perico being the first you can complete solo. There’s also money that can be earned from a locked safe in El Rubio’s office. All of these factors, plus a variety of bonus payments you can earn, all impact how much money you can make whilst undertaking the GTA Online Cayo Perico Heist.

Read on, and we’ll explain all you need to know about the potential payouts in the Cayo Perico Heist.

UPDATE - As of the release for GTA Online The Criminal Enterprises DLC, all Heist Payouts have increased ever so slightly.

To encourage group play, all players joining Heist Setups will receive 50% more GTA$ than the current payout.

Additionally:
• The minimum cut for Finales is now set at 15% for each member
• The cost of Heist Setup fees has been reduced across the board to GTA$25K

With regards to The Cayo Perico Heist specifically, Solo playthroughs will now trigger a cooldown of 3 in-game days. Likewise, after stealing a high value Primary Target in The Cayo Perico Heist Finale, the higher value Primary Targets will appear less often for the next 72 hours, while the value of Secondary Targets will increase. This is intended to encourage exploration and cooperation between players.

GTA Online Cayo Perico Heist Minimum Payout First Time

The Madrazo crime family is having some disagreements with El Rubio, so they’re looking for someone experienced to raid his near-impenetrable fortress, outmaneuver high-priced guards and high-tech security, and make off with some important files. This is the main primary objective of the Cayo Perico heist and if you complete it, you’ll earn a $1,100,000 reward from Miguel Madrazo. However, you also need to pay Pavel who will assists players from his Kosatka submarine. Pavel takes a $22,000 cut for helping you.

This means the minimum you can earn from the Cayo Perico Heist is $1,078,000, on your first go.

However, once you’ve stolen the files and completed the heist for the first time, the primary target will alternate between one of five possible primary targets. This means the minimum you can make will vary based on your primary target, and any secondary targets you grab too. A full breakdown can be seen further down.

Primary Target Players Setup Cost Potential Take (Normal) Potential Take (Hard)
Madrazo Files (Once Only) 1-4 N/A $1,100,000 N/A
Sinsimito Tequila 1-4 $25,000 $900,000 $990,000
Ruby Necklace 1-4 $25,000 $1,000,000 $1,100,000
Bearer Bonds 1-4 $25,000 $1,100,000 $1,210,000
Pink Diamond 1-4 $25,000 $1,300,000 $1,430,000
Panther Statue (Event Weeks) 1-4 $25,000 $1,900,000 $2,090,000

there are plenty more ways to make a lot more money, especially if you have a different primary objective, such as the Pink Diamond or Panther Statue (very rare).

GTA Online Cayo Perico Heist – Solo Payout

The Cayo Perico Heist is the first Heist in GTA Online that is playable completely solo from start to finish. Take on stealth recon, high octane shootouts and the epic score alone or team up with a Heist crew for extra support.

Although going it solo will of course make the heist significantly more difficult to complete, the upshot is that you’ll earn more money to keep for yourself since you won’t be splitting the take with anyone else. That being said there are certain things you can’t do in a group, with certain parts of El Rubio’s compound only accessible with more players, like the double keycard doors.

Overall, the best GTA Online Cayo Perico Heist Solo Payout you can earn is $2,688,788. This is assuming players steal the Panther Statue, with gold as their secondary target, and grab the extra $100,000 from El Rubio’s safe. Do note though this is before the 10% cut the fence takes, the 2% cut Pavel takes and the $25,000 setup cost for the heist. After the cuts, it’s likely your solo payout will be closer to $2.3 million, which certainly isn’t bad for a solo heist. You can see the full maths further down on the table.

GTA Online Cayo Perico Heist – Max Payout

The maximum payout for the GTA Online Cayo Perico Heist is $4,188,152. However, this is the maximum you can earn when in a group of four players. But this also needs to be split, with the majority of the cut going to the heist leader. Once again this is assuming players steal the Panther Statue, with gold as a secondary target, and grab the money in the safe whilst playing on hard. It’s also before any deductions.
