Gears of War has long and been one of the largest series within gaming over the years and the latest entry, Gears of War 5, was a massive hit among players.

Now, with gaming going ahead more and more with stellar releases coming in the next couple of years, Gears of War 6 could be coming soon.

For those wondering when we're going to get a new Gears of War, you may be a bit out of luck it seems.

For those who don't know, The Coalition, the developers behind the third person shooter, are working on a brand new IP according to the XNC Podcast.

So, this new IP by the Gears developers is slated to release within the next 1-2 years, and this puts Gears of War 6 on the back burner for another couple of years.

Besides the rumored release window, there isn't much else that we know as of now in respect to the the next installment within the Gears of War series.

However, we can look ahead to Xbox events in 2022, as this could be where we see our first look at the new release!
