DNF Duel is an action-packed fighting game based on Nexon’s blockbuster Dungeon&Fighter franchise which has registered over 850 million players worldwide. Only in the case of it’s been reimagined into a 2.5D fighter utilizing unique combat mechanics for strategic fighting. It’s another incredible looking game from Arc System Works, a developer best known for their fighting games like the Guilty Gear series and BlazBlue. Keen to know more? DNF Duel Release Date
June 28 Updtae - DNF Duel is out now!
DNF Duel has confirmed a worldwide release date of June 28, 2022 on PC (Steam) as well as PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 consoles. Those who purchase a physical copy of the PlayStation version of “DNF Duel” during the pre-order period will receive a “Bonus Gift”.
Is DNF Duel Coming To Xbox?
At the time of writing Nexon has only confirmed a worldwide launch for the game on PC (Steam) and consoles (PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5), but unfortunately not the Xbox family of consoles (which includes Xbox One, Xbox Series S|X). Whether the game will be released on Xbox platforms at a later date isn’t known and there have been no quotes from the devs or publisher to suggest it will.

Below you’ll find a breakdown of the various modes available within DNF Duel,
Story Mode
This includes the game’s core Story, Gallery, and Glossary.
Practice Mode
This includes the game’s main training and tutorial modes you can use to improve your skills.
Single Mode
Single Mode encompasses the various other modes you can enjoy outside of the core story, including Free Battle, Arcade, and Survival.
Online Modes
The DNF Dual Online Modes, include Ranked Match, Ranking, Player Profile, and Replay Library. Take a look on the trailer below:
DNF Duel Characters
DNF Duel introduces several fan favourite characters from the “Dungeon and Fighter” franchise and so far the developers have revealed over 14 charming characters, each with their own distinct skills and personalities. The game will apparently launch with 16 characters.
The following characters have been confirmed for DNF Dual so far:

- Dragon Knight
- Ghostblade
- Grappler
- Hitman
- Inquisitor
- Kunoichi
- Launcher
- Ranger
- Striker
- Swift Master
- Troublershooter
- Vanguard
- Enchantress
- The Lost Warrior

A leak on the PlayStation store some months back suggested that we should also see the following unique characters at launch: Enchantress, and an unlockable Hidden Character.
