Borderlands 4 aims to lure fans back into the series, and with key changes to the core gameplay compared to Borderlands 3, it's looking good for 2K.
However, with the game being difficult to run for some PC players, it's best if we run over some ways to increase your FPS.
Here's what we know.
Borderlands 4: How To Get More FPS
Borderlands is a series we all know, or have at least tried in the past, and we're stoked to get back in the action later this year, finally.
With a goofy cast of characters yet again, there are going to be ones that prove to be more viable in certain kinds of play; but none of this will matter if you can barely run the game.
While Borderlands 4 is a demanding game, tinkering with some of the settings below will certainly help:
-
Upscaling Method
- DLSS if applicable
-
Frame Generation
- On
-
Nvidia Reflex Low Latency
- On or On+Boost
-
Shadows
- Low
-
Volumetric Fog
- Low
-
Volumetric Clouds
- Low
-
Motion Blur
- Off
-
Shading Quality
- Low or Medium
-
Reflections
- Low or Medium
These are generally considered some of the most taxing settings for performance, especially ones related to the environment, such as Volumetric Clouds and Shadows.
In the meantime, be sure to prepare for any future release by checking out the Stealth 700 headset.
