Now, with the game fully released, there's always to be the panic of not being able to find the save button, especially before a big boss battle, which the game has plenty of. 

However, to save in Black Myth Wukong, you won't need to head into the menus, instead, simply find the nearest shrine you have used your essence at, and rest.

Resting acts as a saving point for the game, but we can assume the game also offers some auto save point.
