Monster Hunter Wilds is a long time in the making, and with the game now fully released, players are diving in to check out all of the changes.
One aspect of the series that hasn't changed is the inclusion of Mantles, which will be great for sneaking around and up to monsters.
Here's all of them within Monster Hunter Wilds.
All Mantles in Monster Hunter Wilds and How To Obtain Them
Monster Hunter is wildly recognized as one of the best franchises we have for online gaming, and so far into Wilds, it's easy to see why,
Mantles are going to be essential for combat, as some of them boost aspects such as damage, or buff your resistance to certain elements.
As of now we know of five Mantles in Wilds, and they're noted below.
-
Ghille Mantle
- The Ghillie Mantle conceals you from enemy view and enables the use of sneak attacks on unsuspecting monsters
- Unlocked at the start of the game
-
Rocksteady Mantle
- Removes all damage interactions including knockbacks from monster attacks, wind effects, grants tremor resistance, and removes stun from roars. You’ll also take less damage when wearing the Rocksteady Mantle.
- Complete the Black Flame Low Rank story mission, then talk to Gemma
-
Mending Mantle
- Heals you back to full HP after a while
- Best Xu Wu in the Ruins of Wyveria
-
Evasion Mantle
- Increases the invulnerability window while evading and grants a temporary attack boost for evading a monster attack at the very last moment
- Unlocked after completing the campaign, and have defeated the Frenzied Nerscylla
-
Corrupted Mantle
- Decreases health, but increases affinity and weapon performance while equipped. Repeated attacks on monsters will further increase your attack power and affinity.
- Defeat High Rank Gore Magala
